Dr. Fatih Şirin was born in Ankara, in 1969. Between 1986 and 1992, he completed his medical education at Faculty of Medicine, University of Istanbul. During this period, he worked as an observer at Faculty of Medicine, Montreal McGill University, Canada. Between 1992 and 1998, he did his fellowship at Department of Plastic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University of Istanbul.

In 1997, he worked with Lois Vasconez at Department of Plastic Surgery, University of Alabama at Birmingham. In this department, he observed many surgical procedures, regarding reconstructive surgery and endoscopic face lifting. Due to his performance in this department he received certificate of microsurgery. During this period, he also attended many retreats and meetings.

In 1999-2000 period, during his military service at Diyarbakır Military Hospital, he experienced lower extremity reconstruction and head and neck recostructions. Following his military service, he started working at the Department of Plastic Surgery, Taksim State Hospital.

Since 2000, he practises Aesthetic Surgery in his own clinic. He attends many national and international Aesthetic Surgery meetings. He is a member of Turkish Plastic Recons and Aesthetic Surgery Society, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Society, ISAPS – International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery Society. He is married and has a son.
